Martijn Cornelis Doolaard,  [b, 1966, Assenede, Belgium] graduated from the photography course at the Academie voor Schone Kunsten at Sint-Niklaas,Belgium. Since his graduation he has worked as an autonomous photographer/visual artist. He has participated in various solo and group exhibitions; among the venues were his work has been seen are the photofestivals at Breda, Naarden and Antwerp, the Centres for the visual Arts in Middelburg and Flevoland, during the Turnhout Photo Event [Belgium] and UNSEEN Amsterdam, at Galerie Baudelaire in  Antwerp, Galerie DeelenArt in Rotterdam, Galerie Pim de Rudder  in Assenede and the G4 Gallery in Cheb[Czech Rep.] His work is to be found in various collections.
